Milak Bearings was started way back in 1971 at Bangalore , which is Today’s Silicon Valley of India . With High tech and Prestigious Industries like  HAL – HMT – BEL – ITI – BEML – BHEL – NGEF and MICO located here , along with their hundreds of Ancillaries . Besides nearly a thousand Large , Medium and Small  Scale Private Sector Industries in Bangalore , this city  was the natural and ideal choice  for us to start out Special Bearings Venture here .

         With the advent of Computers and wide usage of CAD – CAM systems , the Engineering Technology was revolutionised in the 70’s and 80’s and simple and  elaborate machinery and systems were replaced by Complicated and Precision designs , which were smaller and slimmer . A vast range of Non-standard and Special Design Bearings was used in these latest Machine Tools and Equipment . However , the  availability of Replacement Bearings has become a big problem for  the users , since  the regular bearing suppliers and authorised stockists of standard bearings do not stock them . Moreover , they have very little Technical Knowledge about these bearings as to their equivalents and alternatives , in case the originally used bearings were not available .  The role of Specialists like us has therefore become very prominent and important in today’s scenario .

         With our Acumen and Experience over the years we have steadily built up the  range of our stock of Special Bearings required in India . Today , we have a  very wide range of bearings for applications varying from Machine tools of  Indian and Imported makes to Packaging and Printing Machines , latest Textile Machines , Aircraft Controls and Robotics , Heavy Earth Moving  Machinery bearings , besides Specially Designed  bearings for Special Purpose Machines and Automation .

         We also have a Manufacturing Division where we Organise , Design and Manufacture bearings as per the customer’s sample or drawings for bearings not available and also Manufacture Import Substitutes and Export items . We have also introduced Technical Advisory Services to our Customers where our team of Expert Engineers give valuable advise to Machine Designers as well as Users for various bearing application problem . We undertake trouble-shooting as well as re-conditioning of machines by a team of engineers specialised in these jobs , and Re-engineering problematic Machine Tools and Equipment .
