MAIN FEATURES
Micron Spindles are designed to suit workshop requirements and their construction is extremely robust. These
spindles are manufactured exclusively from first class material and all parts subject to
wear are hardened and ground to a very high grade of concentricity.
Micron spindles are equipped with carefully selected high
precision ANGULAR
CONTACT Ball bearings. Due to the accuracy
of these special bearings the radial as well as the axial loads are uniformly distributed.
The high running accuracy of these bearings guarantees a rotation of the spindle at high
speeds absolutely free of vibrations.
The high accuracy angular contact ball bearings run under pretension absolutely free of clearance. Expansion differences
are compensated and the normal wear in the bearings is taken up automatically. This
assures an optimum service life with maximum spindle rigidity.
Micron spindles are absolutely maintenance
free. The high accuracy bearings are greased at our works
with a onetime grease lubrication for the
life of the bearings . Reliable seals on both ends
protect the high quality bearings against the ingress of dirt and dust.
Micron spindles can be effectively employed for production
grinding as well as for fine grinding and are used successfully wherever high grinding
capacity, high dimensional accuracy and high surface quality are required. All spindles
can be employed in the horizontal, vertical or inclined position.
As the grinding wheel wears down, the most suitable peripheral
speed of the wheel (ie), 20 - 30
mts./sec., can be obtained by changing the driving pulley to a different diameter. All
wheel adopters and driving pulleys are inter changeable on all types of Micron spindles.
